YOG Opening Ceremony!!!

Hi People!!! I think this is going to be a long post..

YOG Opening Ceremony was super fun!!! However, I can only describe to you, as I cant release any photos at the mean time, till the Official Opening Ceremony is over. But no worries, 3938 photos are awaiting you, with 80 of them already on Facebook. The photos are mainly taken by WeiHao, Jori, Kerin and I.

Shall start from morning tuition.

Tuition was like so empty today… IDK why. And it soon became a bore. Was simply tired. But was looking forward for fun!!! Unlike last week, tuition was not as awkward. Cos we were back to our original seats, and were eating ‘ba xian guo’ at the back!!! :DD Haven pay my dad $2.30 for it yet. :P

After tuition, had to reach home ASAP for lunch, then change, rest, then leave for school alr. My dad bought the lunch was like so much, and I ended up so full.

Left home for school at around 330. Then Kerin told me she is alr thr, when I was like, at my house condo gate. She say she want go early sia.. Then reached school at around 1545. WeiHao used his grandma number to call me, say he stuck in traffic jam. So Kerin and I were like sitting down there. Then we later went opposite, cause want to buy stuffs. But I never buy, is Kerin buy. She earlier bought coffee and sweets all put in my bag. LOL.

Then she now go opposite buy Roller Coaster. And after that, her coffee, sweets(so many…) Roller Coaster all in my bag, cos her bag was a small one.. Hehe!!! Then WeiHao came, then we have to loiter around, cos it was not time yet. Then WeiHao went opposite. I followed. Kerin dun one sia… Then helped her buy Coke. And, it was in my bag once again…. Hehe… Sat with WeiHao, and Kerin sat with KaiFong. haha!!! Left school at about 1645. Left towards F1 Pit Building.

Stupid sia school. Hire the bus to sent us there, and the bus was so old, so hot, and the fan inside was damn noisy. We asked what is dinner and they told us Old Chang Kee rice and pok and veggies… Then when reaching F1 Pit Building, there was a bus jam, reason being is because of one bus check… and it is one at a time… Once pass, then the bus turns into the F1 track… And turns exactly like a F1 car, except, its slow… And the track down the Pit Building was used as a bus bay.  and we were brought into the F1 garage, where we had our dinner. Dinner was a bread, similar to those at Subway. an apple, and some dates( 2 only…) too full for the large bread, so only ate the apple. so as WeiHao and Kerin… And they bluffed us!!!

Then they were giving out Singapore flags… And Jerrold took Kerin bread and dates, and ate sia… So happy him. Haha!!! I never eat, so kept… Took photos of it, at the Pit Building. I was like taking some photos and XinMin was asking, Eh BoBo, ur hand injured still can take photos huh? =.= Dun wan say… Then she was eating potato chips, but eating secretly… WTH… Then i asked her, why cannot guang ming zheng da and eat? Then Kerin say she wants, so pass over. and XinMin was seating 5 seats away from Kerin, when Kerin was seating at the end of the row…so pass pass pass… but thx for her offer…

then we were asking those ignorant YOG volunteers when they dun noe anything, for our funpacks… WTH… They say dun have… Wth…

Walked to the Platform from the Pit Building!!! Was fun though it was damn bloody hot… Wa… Sweating!!! and the show was due to start at 2010, but we had to be sitted there by 1800. So was taking photos, but now still uploading on facebook. too many.

First Chapter, Countdown!!! It was nice, as they countdown to the start of the inaugural YOG!!! Then there was all those dancing from those Youth Performers! Fantastic!

next was Selamat Detang. Malay for Welcome. but was nice, as they showed the main ethic groups in Singapore.

Ok. Shall not say the rest, cos I noe I blog this late. So you must really watch the Opening Ceremony!!! It was simply pure fantastic. But i must say that they had deprived us of many parts in the show… IDK Y are they like this… Bad!!! Including the last segment which is Blazing the Trail. ESP the funpacks.

the flags of all 205 NOCs were bit boring. But we enjoyed, cos we were making fun of those corrupted countries or other, like China. And we then heard lots of unknown countries, from nowhere. then the singing of the theme song. it was supposed to be the 5 singers representing the 5 continents, but it was 5 volunteers, carrying the placard, ‘Theme Song’ WTH…

So they deprived us of the last segment, so it was like, the show has ended, and all of the sudden, there was fireworks!!! in the Official Opening Ceremony, the last segment was fantastic! Darren Choy, the Double World Champion was the final torchbearer!!!

Then when walking back to the F1 Pit Building, we walked onto the stage, and it was made of cotton wool!!! Cool!!! Walked and took some pix, and will post it on fb… Was doing waves to all the buses with students from other schools. And Jerrold became Ms Singapore!!! Woo!!! :DD

Had a simply nice night though it was very tiring!!! Mr Watt!!! Nvr give us our YOG Tickets!!
